The task in this application example: to ship palletized goods in foldable reusable transport packaging safely, efficiently, and sustainably. The challenge was to develop returnable packaging that is not only suitable for store deliveries or freight forwarding, but is also robust, reusable, and cost-effective.
Our solution: Affordable, foldable, reusable transport packaging
Our specially developed reusable transport packaging in Euro dimensions is the perfect solution for cost-effective and sustainable B2B goods shipping in the freight forwarding sector. The box is stackable and can be folded flat for efficient return transport. Its robust construction offers optimum protection for the goods being shipped – even with frequent use. In practical tests under real conditions, the transport packaging has proven to be extremely durable and resistant.
The systematic use of this reusable transport packaging avoids large quantities of single-use packaging. Companies significantly reduce their packaging waste and lower their CO2 emissions at the same time—without compromising on protection or logistics capabilities.
Recycling & Reuse
After shipping, the empty transport packaging remains at the receiving point, where it is folded up and collected in collection containers. It is returned in this condition via existing logistics flows or through targeted returns. The boxes are then checked, cleaned, and put back into circulation by the shipping company itself or by us and our partner workshops for people with disabilities.
An integrated label holder ensures that shipping labels can be easily attached and removed without leaving any residue—no tape or residue required. The packaging can be sealed without the use of tape, making preparation simple and efficient.
Tamper-proof thanks to seal stickers
Seal stickers can be used as an option to ensure integrity during transport. These are applied in such a way that they are visibly damaged when the box is opened, leaving a "VOID OPEN" message. This creates transparency and security for everyone involved in the supply chain.
Economically convincing
It also makes economic sense: although the initial cost of reusable transport packaging is higher than that of disposable packaging, this cost is spread over many cycles of use. Savings in packaging material are achieved after just a few cycles. As a rule, the reusable solution in this concept is cheaper than the disposable product after the seventh cycle. The packaging in this concept is designed for 40 cycles with cost savings of over 40%. The return costs have been taken into account.

Our reusable transport packaging is made entirely of polypropylene with a recycled content of up to 60%. It is designed for more than 40 uses in freight shipping and is completely recycled at the end of its service life. Compared to conventional single-use packaging, the reusable solution saves CO2 from the third use onwards. After 40 cycles, CO2 emissions are reduced by up to 80% and packaging waste by up to 98%.
