Riese & Müller goes reusable
In August 2023, Riese & Müller, a premium manufacturer of e-bikes and cargo bikes, announced in a press release that it would begin shipping e-bikes and bicycle components in reusable packaging. With this move, Riese & Müller is making another important Riese & Müller to greater sustainability in the bike industry. Following a successful pilot program with selected specialty retailers, more than 320 specialty retailers from Germany and the EU are now participating in our reusable packaging program.
Fill & return collection box
You will receive rhinopaqs again and again in the future. Collect them in the rhinopaq. Is the collection box full of rhinopaqs? Great! Then send it back now with the enclosed return label.
Request a new collection box
Hand the filled collection box over to the appropriate delivery service—see the return label inside the collection box. A new collection box (item number 231389) can be ordered through the dealer portal, “my Riese und Müller.” The new collection box will be delivered automatically with your next order.

Reduced disposal costs - Gone are the days of trampling, cutting up and disposing of disposable packaging. You save valuable manpower and reduce your disposal costs.
Lower risk of injury - the use of cutter knives is significantly reduced. Our reusable packaging is closed with Velcro fasteners, eliminating the need for adhesive tape. The goods are removed and the packaging is simply folded up. This minimizes the risk of injury.
No extra effort required – you will automatically receive your first collection box from Riese & Müller. This collection box is used to collect the rhinopaqs orders. Once the collection box is full, simply hand it over to the relevant delivery service (see return label in the collection box) the next time they deliver to you.

The use of reusable packaging in the shipping of goods is new. Questions may therefore arise. Here you will find answers to frequently asked questions. Is your question not listed? No problem. Feel free to send us an e-mail or give us a call!
Up to 80 small or 10 large rhinopaqs fit into one collection box. But of course, the more packaging you can fit into the collection box, the better! So please make sure you use as much space as possible. This will help us to reduce costs and protect the environment.
There is a transparent document pocket on the inside wall of the collection box. Inside, you’ll find the return label for sending the collection box back to our partner workshop. Please remove the old shipping label and affix the return label to the designated label holder. Then close the collection box and give it to the delivery service specified on the return label the next time they make a delivery to you.
Unfortunately, the return label was forgotten or has simply been lost. In this case, please contact Riese & Müller directly. Simply send an email to service@r-m.de and request a new return label for your collection box (item number 231389).
On the Riese & Müller dealer portal, my.r-m.de, you can quickly and easily order a new collection box (item number 231389). Your next shipment will then be delivered in the collection box you ordered, which you rhinopaqs then rhinopaqs to collect the rhinopaqs .
Open the sealing points on the front of the packaging. Fold up the box and close it with the closure flap. The packaging can then be returned in the collection box to save space.
It can happen that a rhinopaq is damaged during the shipping process. Please fold up the rhinopaq anyway and send it back in the collection box as usual. We will take care of the repair. If we are unable to repair the rhinopaq , it will be recycled and processed into new packaging.
Of course, you can also use the reusable packaging to return goods. To do this, use the usual Riese & Müller via service@r-m.de to obtain a returns label. Remove the old parcel label and stick the return label on the parcel label holder provided.
